HISTORY OF 
TE KUIRAU MARAE

Te Kuirau Marae is maintained by Te Roro O Te Rangi Turipuku Tribal Trust. Our Trust maintains the ahikā of our marae and is composed of representatives from our two whānau, Te Kowhai and Hodge. Our two whānau are the uri of our kuia, Tokia and Te Tai. Our trust is supported in their role by our kaumatua, paepae tapu and marae committee.
