
Te Kuirau Marae is one of three Marae in Ōhinemutu, Rotorua and is home to many uri of Ngāti Te Roro o te Rangi, Ngāti Turipuku & Ngāti Whakaue. Our marae complex is available for bookings by all whānau, hapū, iwi, and our wider hapori including sporting & community groups and other organisations.

Purpose of Policy
The purpose of this policy is to ensure everyone is informed about our hiring processes, policies, and procedures, and to facilitate effective communication for those who book Te Kuirau Marae.
Introduction
Te Kuirau Marae is one of three Marae in Ōhinemutu, Rotorua and is home to many uri of Ngāti Te Roro o te Rangi, Ngāti Turipuku, Ngāti Whakaue.
There are two whānau who maintain ahikā for the Marae, these are the uri of Tokia and Te Tai. The whānau Te Kowhai and Hodges are the trustees of the Marae.
Policy Guidelines
Marae bookings includes the following;

Wharenui - mattresses & pillows

Wharekai - dining tables, chairs, TV cooking facilities and equipment

Wharepaku - showers and toilets

Gas, water, power and wifi charges

Linen charges are separate
